To our LondonSports Baseball & Softball family,
On the back of the government's announcement to extend the lockdown it has become clear to us that, despite the desire to do so, we are sadly forced to cancel what would have been the 34th edition of our annual baseball and softball "regular" season at the Scrubs, as well as our playoffs and Championship. With that said, we remain hopeful that some sort of "Summer Ball" will be played in July and August at the Scrubs.
During this pandemic, and throughout the lockdown, many of you have reached out and asked how you could continue to support LondonSports and our programs.
As we have communicated previously, our current financial situation remains relatively ok. That said, we recognise that many of you have paid for the season and would like to understand what happens next. Here are the options:
1. Full refund
2. Player Credit for 2021 Season
3. A charitable donation to London Baseball CIO (Charity registration number 1161180).
Your support for our program is beyond generous - in so many ways. We thank you, wholeheartedly, for your continued patronage.
We do hope that you and your kids will make the most of this glorious weather and head outdoors for some catch in the weeks to come. And whilst we all miss Jack's BBQ, The Philadelphia Chili Company, Prairie Fire and SkyCo in "our dugout", you can still taste it at home as Philly Chili owner and Scrubs fan Jeanette Boulind is now selling her renowned chili powder on her website.
As always, we wish you the best and hope we can all return to see ball games at the Scrubs soon.
